Alina Grunina grew up playing guitar. As a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music (New York, USA), Alina has studied with such guitar talents as Mark Delpriora, David Starobin(US) and Jeffrey McFadden(Canada) .

Alina Grunina has been a featured performer in master classes with such world-known artists as David Russel, Roland Diens, George Morel, Ricardo Isnaola, David Tannenbaum and David Starobin. Alina is currently a private guitar instructor in Thorhnill (GTA Toronto), ON Canada, and a performing /recording artist.

Alina’s experience as a guitar instructor ranges from the level of college students at the Long Island Conservatory of Music (NY, USA) to young and adult beginners and intermediate students at the Queens Music and Dance School.

Back in Ukraine, Alina began her musical studies at the age of seven and studied in class of Alexander Moskalenko-a teacher who gave a great foundation for a successful musical career to some very gifted musicians, for example-Galina Vernigora Vail-guitar virtuoso, another student of Sergey Moskalenko.

Before the Manhattan School of Music, Alina finished the Kharkov’s State College of Music and graduated with honors as a guitar pedagogue and performer. She has been professionally playing and teaching guitar for over twelve years.

Alina Grunina performs as a guitar soloist, chamber musician and accompanist. She appeared on radio broadcasts and TV shows, performed at the concerts, festivals, corporate and private functions.
